Get In, Get Out, Get Well at Living Well ExpressCare!
United Supermarkets has joined forces with UMC Health System in Lubbock and Family Medicine Centers in Amarillo and Frisco to offer a new, cutting-edge service to the United trade area. “Living Well ExpressCare” offers primary medical services to guests inside the store – the first healthcare clinics in a retail setting in West Texas!
Clinics are staffed by fully licensed and certified Nurse Practitioners and Physicians’ Assistants who serve patients two years of age and older. Visits take approximately 15 minutes, no appointment is necessary and most insurance plans are accepted. Referrals are made to specialist physicians as needed.
Living Well ExpressCare treats most common minor illnesses, including allergy-related symptoms, colds and flu, strep throat, vomiting and diarrhea, urinary tract infections, minor burns and skin rashes/infections. Additional services include glucose testing, pregnancy testing, school/camp physicians, diabetes screening, blood pressure checks and common vaccinations.
The Amarillo clinic is located inside the United at 45th & Bell. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Phone 806-355-2900.
In Lubbock, clinics are inside United locations at 50th & Ave. Q (phone 806-761-0428) and 82nd & Boston (phone 806-761-0429). Hours of operations are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 1- 6 p.m.
The Frisco clinic is the first inside a Market Street store and is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The next Living Well ExpressCare clinic will open inside the new Market Street store currently under construction Coppell later this year.
